Intrinsic Asthma Cure
Always talk to your doctor when you have an attack. It is difficult to identify the causes of intrinsic asthma but your doctor could help you identify the triggers and suggest ideas for avoiding them.
It is important to avoid cigarette smoke and if you smoke, stop. It has proved that second hand smoke will reduce the effectiveness of medication and can trigger more attacks.
Monitor your breathing as a decrease in lung in lung capacity below your normal level can indicate an attack is on the way. Use a peak airflow flow meter to monitor and warn of impending attack. Use medication at the first sign of an attack or when indicated by the airflow meter and the most severe attacks can be avoided. The best way of reducing attacks is to learn what triggers them and change your lifestyle accordingly and hopefully regain the quality of life you enjoyed before falling ill.
